Despite a wet and challenging vintage, this 2013 is gorgeously textured, grippy and with a surprisingly youthful...

100% Sangiovese, this has fairly intense aromatics that are savoury with dark red cherry, earthy, and forest floor aromas with whiffs of floral. It's full-bodied with juicy acids and smooth, fine tannins. Elegant in the mouth with a very nice mouthfeel and lovely aroma replays on the flavour profile. Nicely balanced throughout with a long finish and should continue to drink well over the next 10+ years. Tasted Feb/2020.
