Douro is a Portuguese wine region located on the Douro River in the Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro region. The region is sheltered from Atlantic winds by the Marão and Montemuro mountains and has a Mediterranean climate, with hot and dry summers and cold winters.
Exuberance of fresh fruit, where notes of red fruits dominate. Excellent balance.
Vinified in granite mills called "Lagares" 7 days, than Then in stainless steel tanks.
Variety: Bastardo 35%, Tinto Cão 35%, Tinta Barroca 30%
Serve at 16°C. Perfect with grilled meat, game and typical Douro gastronomy a (lamb stew marinade).
