Cuvee 2013 Wines

Steve (89): The 2013 is very similar to the 2012 that I recently tasted. It is a pure lightly structured fairly complex red that is dry and does not need oak to be complete. In an era of over-oaked sweet reds it is a pleasure to find a wine like this. It is very juicy, exuberantly youthful and fresh. Expect lifted aromas of blackberry and plum fruit with herbal and floral tones and black pepper spice. The palate is well balanced with ripe fruit, fresh lemony acidity and mild tannin. Very good length. Try lightly chilled with bbq meats. Tasted September 2014.
