Tightly wound on the nose with SO2 still evident, Cave Spring's '14 CSV is a long way from prime drinking. The palate...

Medium-high aromatics and seems a bit closed, this has a lovely orange, citrus, mineral and Flintstones vitamins. The palate is fleshy with crisp, balanced acids, and fine chalky mineral limestone texture. Very nice off-dry (i.e. slightly sweet) aroma replays. Long finishing. This will age gracefully for many years. Tasted July/2016
