Harmonious, rich, balanced, pure, complex. This is a wonderful mix of styles and flavours that really comes together to make a delicious, balanced wine. Nothing overpowering. A mix of red and black fruits, followed by some spice and savory notes, and a streak of minerality to it on the finish. Lots of layers. Huge bang for the buck here.

Big fruit appeal in this wine while still preserving old world structure and supporting flavours. The nose and palate both hold an almost Amarone like depth of dark and stewed fruits on a backbone of earth and savoury herb notes. The acidity is very well matched to the fruit and the tannins are quite supple leading to a smooth and medium-long finish. A really tasty big wine.
