Bin 389 is been kicking around for over 50 years, a rich, complex and complete blend of cabernet-shiraz that has earned a reputation as the Baby Grange. It is always cabernet dominant, and always aged in American oak. It is full bodied, tense, dense and rich with complex aromas and flavours of mint, cassis, smoke, cedar, peppery spice, floral, licorice and smoked meat. Not much missing! It’s full bodied, silky smooth, tense and dense, and a bit sinewy with a chocolaty, coconut American oak finish. Excellent length. Best 2015 to 2025+.
