Inniskillin’s Montague Vineyard pinot noir is an excellent value, well-made red that rarely disappoints. Grown in...

Well, this is very fine! I love the nose, with a gentle yet generous display of cran-strawberry fruit nicely tucked...

Light garnet in colour with a medium intense nose.

Positives: Sweet & tart, just like I like my Pinots: (and you thought I was going to say something else?) This Pinot features smoked cedar, cranberry, strawberry, rhubarb, cherry pie, sweet basil, cinnamon & a light earthy taste. Medium minus in body with low tannins, high acidity & a fairly long length.

Negatives: A touch too high in acidity, but still yummy.

Interesting Point: I lucked out getting this wine on sale at an LCBO store for $17.55 , and remember to lightly chill it.

Drink now on its own, however due to the higher acidity this wine will show better paired food such as duck.

This pinot has a very fruity nose of lychee and fresh fruits. Reminded me of the nose you get in Inniskillin's icewine. The palate is again fresh with some citrus and good acidity. The finish is not long. There's no sense of terroir or earthiness. This is all new world pinot, clean and intense. Tasted January 2012

Dark and perfumed, this poured very nice. Medium body. Sweet and sour with some herbal, spicy flavours. Good tannic balance, nice wine.
