Pretty much as the reviews above describe. Not everyone is going to like this style. I do, but even for me it was almost a little too austere.

Would still recommend it though for fans of classic old school French syrah, especially at this price.

Pronounced peppery nose, for sure, but not enough fruit for my liking. What was there was too sour. My bottle had a lot of sediment, so I'll try another one to see if things change.
