Armagnac

Like Cognac, Armagnac is a region specific brandy from France. It's history dates back over 700 years making it the oldest 'eau de vie' in the country. Armagnac Appellation Contrôlée was defined in 1936 and comprises of three regions: Bas-Armagnac, Armagnac-Ténarèze and Haut-Armagnac.
