Immediately recognisable as Blaufrankisch (there is 5% pinot noir added). Spicy, smokey and meaty. Very good wine in my opinion, but at just over half the price, Heinrich's entry level Blaufrankisch brings a similar profile with a bit more concentration. This on the other hand has more finesse and rustic quality... leaves one wanting more.
