Admiration is afforded this tidy little Languedoc, where red fruit meets citrus, lavender and garrigue. Peppery and...

Although the Wine Spectator's 90 point score seems a tad high, the wine is dry and honest which is admirable. For the...

Fantastic tannins and great compliment to grilled prime rib steaks. Incredible nose of red fruit and faint tobacco, balanced acidity and nice finish.

Thin but juicy, & at a reasonable price

Description: Medium dark ruby in colour with a medium intense nose. This wine features plums, dark cherry, raspberry, white and black peppers and dry herbs. Medium body with medium to medium+ tannins, good acidity and a long length.

Negatives: None, however this wine does not live up to Wine Spectator's score of 90.

Drink now or in the next 5 of years on its own or pair it with Seared Lamb Chops served with Pomegranate-Pistachio Couscous.

Tasted: 6 Aug 2015

Score: 8.5+/10, Value: 8.5+/10 Total: 17.5/20

Out of 5 stars, I rated this wine: 3.5+
