Sweet corn and white peach abound in the 2007 Deidesheimer Hohenmorgen Riesling trocken GC. Silken in texture and impressively dense, with nut oils, subtle herbs, wafting lilac perfume, and mineral nuances mingling with its sweet fruit, this combines virtues of the richest Rieslings in this year's Burklin-Wolf collection with those of the most transparent and buoyant. A finish of real grip does not preclude suggestions of creaminess, levity, and a somehow cooling wet stone and chalk character in its eloquent finish. Cherish some of this for up to 12-15 years.
