The Icardi Perej 2006 is a stunning example of Barolo. Lots of depth here. In its youth it's still showing vibrant dark fruit but the structure and complexity is definitly there, presenting the nose with hints of tar and spice. Tannins are firm but balanced, with a delightful finish. Tons of depth in this Barolo and my only regret is that I didn't wait another 5+ years before enjoying!
