Blend of 47% Merlot, 22% Cab Franc, 21% Cab Sauv and 10% Malbec. Lots of oak and smoky aromas with underlying dark fruits. Full-bodied with bright acidity and more dark fruit and tobacco flavours on the palate. Grippy tannins could use another 2-3 years in cellar, but drinking well now. Tasted Nov/2012.

Starts with a big, pungently complex nose with herbs, earth, red berries and coffee. The palate shows surprisingly big structure and concentrated red fruit, along with tobacco. That the fruit is under-ripe becomes more evident in the finish, however, this is a stimulating wine worth trying. Tasted Sept 2011.

Earthy with tart cherry notes that make it dry and yet also fruity. Unusual and delicious.

Soft and Caressing on the palate. Drinking really beautifully right now. Pretty incredible this wine can prevail as well as it does considering the cool rainy 2008 vintage. They must have worked extremely hard in the vineyard b/c this wine is simply beautiful.
