The 2005 Chertsey is composed of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc aged in 100% new oak. Purple-colored, it reveals an attractive bouquet of toasty oak, earth notes, spice box, black currant and blackberry. On the palate it is medium-bodied and smooth-textured with plenty of succulent black fruit, outstanding concentration, excellent balance, and a lengthy, pure finish.
