I am a big fan of Marynissen reds. This light to medium bodied wine has INTEGRATED to aged notes of red currant, pine and vanilla. Tannins are refined to tannic (decant for 30 min) and the finish was medium to long. I think that it can still be aged for 1 to 2 years before notes of leather/cork taint overpower the fruit. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 87.5. Tasted Aug/10. As wines from the winery are not available at the LCBO, I recommend a visit to the estate.
