The 2008 Bel Echo Pinot Noir has a lovely bright ruby colour, a plump very lifted aroma full of raspberry, strawberry and plum. There is some oak, which adds a creamy, biscuity note, but thankfully doesn't overwhelm the fruit ... it is a delicious easy drinking wine that is perfect now. Score - 16.5 (out of 20).
