The estate's flagship Campora (95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot) is hugely intriguing. Remarkably young for a wine of its age and vintage, the 2007 is just beginning to show the earliest signs of tertiary development. It remains a big, large-scaled wine in need of cellaring. With time in the glass, hints of sweet herbs, tobacco and licorice develop, adding complexity to the dark fruit, but the 2007 isn't developed enough yet to offer its finest drinking.
