Delicious, with a candied orange peel nose combined with more standard nebbiolo flavours. Not at all what I expected, and so very pleasantly surprising. If this what they can do with their Langhe I look forward to tasting the more up-market offerings from this brand.
A well made wine. Translucent ruby coloured in the glass. Notes of candied red cherry, raspberry, plum, leather, tobacco, tar, chestnut, tomato, and violet. Medium bodied with medium plus tannins and acidity. Very good length.
