Racy, tightly wound flavors of apple and green melon are leesy and brisk, finishing with a wash of salty minerality. Bründlmayer's Steinmassel is always taut and highly structured, but the 2006 is even more closed than usual, developing in aroma a day or two after being opened. Score - 93.
