A lovely, lush and concentrated wine. Soft tannins and just enough acidity for balance. Great depth of flavour. Lots of ripe dark fruits.

A beautiful ruby colour in the glass. Some definite complexity on the nose with notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, cassis, bramble, cedar, leather, baker’s chocolate, smoke, and a dried herbal and vegetal quality that is hard to place. The high alcohol content is evident from the nose through the palate. Medium plus body with matching tannins. Good length.
