A blend of indigenous varietals Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grown on the northern side of Mount Etna between 550 to 700 metres elevation, this has a fresh and pretty nose of dark minerals and an array of red berry aromas such as strawberry, cherry and raspberry. It's light-to-medium bodied and supported by structured tannins and fresh acidity. Lovely aroma replays on the palate joined by spicy tones. Smoky mineral undertones linger on the long, balanced finish. Tasted Oct/2019.

Light and lacking structure and length for the money IMO Delicate and balanced aromas prevent a lower score.
