Adamo Estate is a new winery in Hockley Valley of Mono Township near Orangeville, northwest of the GTA on the Niagara Escarpment. It's 18-acre hilltop vineyard is beginning to produce estate wines (chardonnay, riesling, pinot noir, gamay, L'acadie Blanc and Vidal). They use new thermal textiles to tent the vineyards during the winter. But the bulk of the production is single vineyard vinifera from sites in the Niagara Peninsula, and they have assembled a very large portfolio of whites, reds, roses and sparklers. Under the direction of winemaker Shauna White, Adamo has achieved considerable critical and awards success - Canadian Wine Insider
