Keith started his career with Closson Chase in 2003, as a vineyard hand, and was promoted to assistant winemaker the following year under the tutelage of Deborah Paskus. It was during this time that he honed his winemaking skills and gained extensive knowledge of winery operations and the wine industry. After a brief stint away from the winery as an independent consultant, he returned to become the retail sales manager and out of province sales agent. This January Keith was offered a challenge and the opportunity to fulfill a life long dream – to become a winemaker. His vision: “To capture what Mother Nature grows in a bottle. In other words, to use what grows above the ground to showcase what happens in the ground.”
