John (87): The nose here offers notably bruised, oxidative fruit character, like a low sulphur, 'natural' style, with bruised apple and similar notes. The palate is off-dry (12 grams residual sugar), fizzy and light-bodied, with solid flavour intensity and length. This steps outside the usual spectrum of style for Prosecco, though has a compelling authenticity about it. Not for ageing in any case. Tasted July 2014. Value Rating: *1/2
