Calera’s Central Coast is a nine-vineyard, five-county pinot noir amalgamation and its broad appeal is no surprise....

Nose has an underlying earthiness, but has up front aromas of herbs, spice and dark fruit. Pours pale, but has a silky smooth mouthfeel that is full of ripe black currant, juicy raspberry, cherry and vanilla with a hint of cola on the finish. Wood is present, but well integrsted and not overpowering giving it a spicy compliment to the abundant wild berry fruit. I fully enjoyed this wine.
