A really nice Chianti that is drinking perfectly right now. But it's not hitting at the level it's price would suggest it should.
Medium bodied, good fruit balances plenty of savory flavours. A bit of edge bricking illustrates a bit of oxidation and mellowing tannins. Good acidity. A really good food wine.
I liked this Chianti....but I expected more complexity for almost $30.
