It's only wine but I like it
It's only wine but I like it

The 2005 vintage. Tasted a nearly 9 years of age, this Cahors has aged wonderfully. The youthful tannin has softened yet the flavours remain complex and deep. Black fruit with hints of smoke and wood. The finish is good, but a little more length would have pushed the score over 90. Still, A $17 wine that tastes this good after nearly 9 years is a real joy. Drink now or in the next couple of years. Tasted May 2014.
