On the nose and the attack this granche blanc, vermentino, viognier blend showed richness and depth. Concentrated orchard fruit and lots of floral character. On the finish, however, the alcohol made too strong an appearance for my taste, throwing the balance way off. Perhaps fatty fish or roasted poultry with heavy sauces would compliment this well and help to mitigate the heat from the alcohol.
