Pronounced “Hestos”. This range is made from 50/50 fruit from Tupungato at 1,100 and Barrancas at 700 metres. Tank sample. Nice floral lift on this wine, with cherry and a touch of violet. Good palate, with a fine, silky quality and very nice, harmonious tannins and acids. A big step up in quality for me, the extra acidity of the higher vineyards showing through. Score – 88.
