This has more structure and firmness than many Napa cabs. It is a very dark, quite deep and sinewy young cabernet...

The 2013 is a beautiful California cabernet, balanced, elegant and nicely structured for mid-term cellaring. It is a...

Firm, tight and gritty, this wine is not for the fans of plush and cuddly cabernet, but it has all of the savoriness...

I have had several bottles of this and have some tucked away to try in a couple of years. The last bottle my wife and I drank was with some fantastic NY Striploins, what a great match! It is not a typical California Cab lacking the more commercial aspects of many. Instead you get a full bodied, fruit forward, savoury cabernet with excellent complexity and length. Some oak and vanillin, but not overly so. Great balance here that will only get better. That said; I still look for it on the wine list at every restaurant I go to when looking for a Cabernet Sauvignon.
