Many of Bordeaux’s bargains come from less-known appellations. This is one. It’s a blend of 80% merlot, 18% cabernet franc and 2% cabernet sauvignon and it delivers intense and well-sculpted flavours. It’s complex and well structured, with a frame of firm tannins that suit it for medium-term cellaring.
