My first bottle of ice apple cider. Made in a similar fashion to ice wine from grapes in that the apples are pressed completely frozen. Of course, this tasted like apples! Hugely sweet (135g/L of sugar) and viscous, with massive concentration, but some acidity to offset some of that sweetness. This is excellent, though, like conventional ice wine, I find that due to the sweetness, I can only drink a small amount for each serving. Serve well-chilled. Tasted Dec 2014.
