Nicely put together Abruzza with grippy but suave tannins. Earthy notes with cherry-plum spice. Lots of old world charm.

The wine was almost sickly sweet with flavours of saccharine and burnt caramel. Not a pleasant wine when tasted against other Montepulciano D'abruzzo.
Tasted blind at a Beefsteak and Burgundy club event, Jan. 2015.
