2012 "La Mora" Morellino di Scansano from Cecchi. Just under $19 at SLGA. A fairly mediocre Sangiovese based wine from the Scansano region in Tuscany. Nothing wrong with the wine, just not very interesting or memorable. Ruby colour, mild aromas of cherry, tea and wood. Medium tannin, medium acid. Drinks easy, fine to have on the table with chicken or tomato sauce dishes. Drink by 2015. Tasted Feb '14.
