Fun-loving, fruity Zin with plenty of plum, bumbleberry jam and cinnamon stick character. The texture is fleshy, ripe and easygoing with a warm, spiced finish. A good choice for saucy ribs or chicken wings. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2013)

This is a rather over-oaked zinfandel with flavours of black tea, cedar, mocha and dried, dusty goji berry fruit....

Tasting Notes: The nose is expressive faces Zinfandel. We perceive very well the passage in barrels for 15 months. Black cherry predominates. Faithful in the mouth, black cherry, plum and nutmeg / pepper. The tannins are present, subtle. Overall, it's almost round but expanded. This is a wine with good acidity. The finish is persistent, especially spices. Free Description: A happy elixir that wants honest and good. Rare are the Zin Californians tranche of $ 20 that are so expressive. A well balanced wine that will appeal to most people
