A very rich interpretation of Vidal, that certainly capitalizes on the grapes ability to yield very generous sugar levels. What I like so much about this bottling is the way the acids are handled. They are well integrated and focused, staying the course right alongside the river of flavours deployed by an army of sugar. Aromas of concentrated peach and lemon preserves, brittle caramel, orange blossom and apple cobbler. For those who prefer the weight of Vidal to the elegance of Riesling this is a good buy for $40.
