Very fruity and polished, a great buy again this year. It combines modern, smooth, New World–like, almost Chilean ripeness and softness, with more Euro-like piquant, ripe raspberry–currant. Vague earthiness in the background. Medium-bodied and easy drinking.

Can't find anything better below $8 !
This house is capable of the worst as well ....
Some years were just bad.
But I classified this one as one of the the best "daily" red Italian wine of the year.
Moderate acidity.
Strawberry/Black Cherry with a bit of oak.
