Codorníu Cava Brut Clasico, Spain
Pale gold colour with a fine mousse; fresh pear, biscuit and citrus aromas; creamy apricot flavour with a soft toasty finish. Medium-bodied with a refreshing touch of citrus.
Serve with appetizers including creamy cheeses

An interestingly fruity nose is of apples and pears; not something I’d've expected from an in-bottle second fermentation. Its medium body has flavors of crisp apples and under-ripe pears that carries through to the finish; the effervescence fills the mouth with a soft toasty sensation that’s rather cleansing.
