The 2007 Wegeler Bernkasteler Doctor Riesling Splatlese has captivating notes of light minerality and petrol, light honey and citrus + mandarine. It is a sweet, medium bodied, integrated wine, with refreshing acidity and a medium to long, clean finish. This one is a sipper; drink now to 2020+. My impression, BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts - quite expensive, but well made. Tasted during Riesling & Co. World Tour May/13.
