Impressive concentration of flavour and above average complexity in this exceptionally tasty Gigondas rose (which rarely makes an appearance on the shelves). Quite substantial with alcohol reaching to 14.5% but is surprisingly well absorbed by depth of flavour. Notes of lavender, raspberry, cherry, licorice and sundried tomato. Pair with barbequed pork tenderloin. Score: 90 (Sara d'Amato, WineAlign.com, Apr 2013)
