Dashwood Chardonnay 2011, Marlborough, South Island
Marlborough, New Zealand
Oh man, you just gotta love Marlborough. Coconut husk, crisp apple, melon and green pear aromas. The palate offers a blast of sunny fruit riding high on a wave of vibrant acidity. The finish is ripe and tangy with grapefruit and honeydew melon. Enjoy this with scallops pan-seared in butter. (VINTAGES panel, March 2013)

Bright gold in colour with a medium+ intense nose.
A balanced Chard that should please a lot of people
Positives: This wine features light oak and toast with lemon, peach, pineapple, coconut, green apples and limestone. Medium body and with good acidity & a fairly long length.
Drink now or in the next 2 years on its own or pair it with rotisserie chicken.
