If you are looking for a cheap and very cheerful red with oodles of fruit, look no farther. This 100% monastrell (mourvedre) blooms with blackberry fruit nicely framed by oak mocha, spice and a touch of earthiness. It's actually mindful of an Australian red if not as thick. It's medium bodied, a touch sweet, fresh and easy going with some heat on the finish. Score: 86 (David Lawrason, WineAlign.com, Feb 2013)

Intense purple like Bindweed’s eye or an Alicante barrel cactus flower. Not to mention the crazy label’s Passion...
