Sourced from multiple vineyards in the Beaune commune of Premier Cru status, the 2010 Beaune du Château is a genuinely pleasurable experience. Light-medium ruby in colour, the wine reveals delicately fragrant, slightly meaty aromas of cherried raspberries, loamy earth (with subtle truffles), and spice. Complex, retaining fine fruit, semi-firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a lovely hint of cherries and raspberries on the finish. Delightful finesse, balance, and lightness of touch. Now-2015+.
