Barbadillo Solear Manzanilla, Do Jerez
Barbadillo's Solear manzanilla is a marvelously crisp, fresh, and lively, sherry with lingering salty-saline finish and crisp apple, fresh baker's yeast and wall plaster aromas and flavours. Terrific length, very inviting, and full of savoury goodness. Snappy. Tasted September 2012. Score: 91 (John Szabo, MS, www.WineAlign.com, Sep 2012)

Such a tasty wine! Very refreshing with apple, nutty, and salty notes. Medium bodied with mouth-watering acidity, this wine begs to be paired with some olives and serrano. In my case, the umami character of the wine paired quite nicely with miso soup and sushi. Phenomenal value!! Tasted April 2013.
