The 2008 Vat 47 Chardonnay has aromas of ripe apricots, orange peel and honeydew melon with hints of coriander seed and toast. Light-bodied with a silky texture and medium-high, balanced acid, it has a good amount of citrus and apple flavors and a long finish. Drinking nicely now, it should cellar to 2017. Score - 91+.
