A nice fresh tasting wine, with flavours of plum and black cherry, and a slightly spicy note. Very clean taste. I really enjoyed this wine, especially at this price point.
Raspberry and pepper on the nose. Plenty of fruit with softening tannins. Good at the price but nothing exciting.
Sweet, candied and commercial tasting. Medium bodied. Dark fruit flavours with some unripe greenness.
Perfectly drinkable and ok for the price.
Light, refreshing, yet slightly sour.
Classic Valpolicella blend, ruby-red in colour with some violet hues. This lightweight wine offers subtle scents of cherries, red plums and raspberries with hints of spices and vanilla.
Velvety soft tannins on the palate, long warm finish with lingering notes of spice and liquorice. Let to breathe prior to drinking!
Tasted November 2012.
Description: Medium ruby colour with a medium+ intense nose.
Positives: Easy drinking and nothing complicated here. This wine features raspberry, machino cherry with chocolate, vanilla and lilacs. Medium minus in body with light tannins, good acidity and a fairly long length.
Negatives: None
Interesting Point: The LCBO puts this wine on sale through out the year.
A nice wine to just relax and drink on its own or pair it cured meats. Drink now.
