It's only wine but I like it
A ripe red, with plenty of sweet oak and ripe blackberry fruit. While this is a well made wine, the use of oak tends to overwhelm any sense of place. I hesitate to call it over-oaked, but more restraint in the use of oak would have produced a wine of more character. For fans of more internationally-styled wines. Drink now or hold a couple more years. Tasted Nov 2011.
