I get this wonderful Nebbiolo gem in Montreal SAQ. Whenever I see it in stock I order as much as I can. Its a wonderful wine. Beautiful bouquet of cherry, spice and floral. Wonderful from start to finish. Great Medium Body and great tannins. I love this one! Super price too for this quality.

Purchased from Empire Wines in Albany, this wine is made from grapes not quite making Vietti's lofty standards for its Barolos. But like second labels from the best chateaus in Bordeaux, this wine is hardly plonk. Blessed with geneous red cherry fruit, earth and spice and great acidity, this is essentially a bargain priced Barolo. My only regreat is that I opened it too early for it still has some firm tannin. Excellent now, but best in 3 -5years and should hold throigh 2022. Tasted Sept 2011.
