This has a classic Loire Valley chenin nose with honeyed pear character, some stony minerality, banana peel and a touch of earth in the background. It’s medium weight, barely off dry but centred by firm, well balanced acidity. Has excellent focus, complexity and length. Delicious and great value. One of the best chenins available in Ontario.
